Am I the only person that thinks reading just isn't the same
without the
turning of a page
and the smell of
ink on paper?

No you're not. Sitting outside with a diet coke and a....not book....doesn't sit right with me.

Oh I love the smell of books. The library, Barnes and Noble.. they call to me. But when you buy as many books as I do, it would be nice to have them all organized on a computer and take all of them with me!

This is what I don't get. The kindle = not cheap. Then buying the books to read off a screen. Isn't it cheaper at the end of the day to buy the book...smell the musty binding, and be able to see your progress with every turn of the page. I so don't get it. I LOVE books. I feel like being able to a put a read book on a shelf is like displaying a badge of honor. Its my favorite thing.

And there's something about dog-earring the page you stop on...or underlining a paragraph you love
