My new toy...

Up until today, laundry has been quite the ordeal at our house. You see, we have a dryer - without any of the proper hook ups or vents and no washing machine. Therefore, we have had to dedicate entire nights to laundry and go to either our friend Nate's house to use their machines or to Cory's parents house.

Now, I have no problem going to either houses, especially considering we are Nate's house quite regularly anyway. I think the main problem is that laundry takes control of our lives once a week! And, those nights, we aren't able to accomplish anything at our own house!!

So, to get to the point....I have been stalking KSL Classifieds for a few weeks trying to find a decent washing machine and for a decent price. FINALLY on Friday, BAM - there it is...$100 for a washing machine that is only 3 years old!!! I couldn't believe it. I called them twice on Friday trying to arrange a time to go see it!

We went this morning, looked at it - made sure it all worked and was in as good of condition as they said - and brought it home with us!!! I think it is almost unhealthy for someone to be as excited as I am about doing laundry at our own house!!!

There it is...our washer and dryer combo - ever seen anything so beautiful?? :)

98 Days

Wow. I just found that cute little baby floaty thing that's on the side of our blog. That's when it hits me...98 days until our baby is born?!?!?!?!?!? WHAT??? oh my gosh. All of a sudden i'm feeling sudden panic mode that we are in only the double digits! Barely, BARELY more than 3 months to go! Everyone says it just gets worse and worse from here...I will get bigger and bigger and more and more uncomfortable as time goes on. I'm really ok with that. I have loved being pregnant. It's all just great.

Oh - and congratulations to Michelle & Michael for finding out they are having a cute little girl! And to Heather on her new computer - now that's how we work it!!

Back to the beginning

So I'm thinking I want to start at the very beginning with info about how our life came to be what it is....

We got married on February 22nd in the Mt. Timpanogos temple. It was SUCH a great day. I think about it often and still think it was absolutely perfect.

of course the typical wedding day kiss...

This is us coming out of the temple...it was so great having everyone we love there!

Here are the 3 Megan/Meagans :) and a Nikki!

You can totally tell he started the cake smashing mess....

We lived in Provo for about 3 months when we first got married. Then we moved to Lehi and lived there for like6 or 7 months. In January we moved to Lindon. Hopefully we are here to stay for a while. I HATE moving.

I work at a place called The Factory. It used to be called Open Court - it's in Lehi, right at point of the mountain. It's a basketball facility where we train people to play basketball properly and we have leagues too!

Cory works at Ken Garff Porsche Audi Volkswagen in Orem. He is a service advisor...so like the person you talk to when something breaks on your care and you need it fixed.

Anyway, we are having a baby boy that's due October 22nd. I can hardly wait! Of course we are completely unprepared...we hardly have any clothes. no blankets. no crib. oh well, i guess we'll get there eventually. :)

cute little nameless boy daley's feet

there is his little profile...if you can't tell, his head is at the right of the picture, and his arm is above it

and that's my favorite...close up of his teeny little foot!!

Sucked In...

Well here you go...McCall and Michelle...you persuaded me. Honestly, deep down I wanted to start a blog a long time ago, but up until about 5 months ago our life was almost depressingly uneventful. Wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, go to bed and then start the same routine all over again the next day! However, we now get to look forward to our brand new little baby boy that's going to be joining us in October!! And, the best part of all of it...you get the TREAT of us pretending that you all are deeply enthrawled (however you spell that...) by all the details of life until he gets here! So...hope you enjoy! :)
