What a day!

Today was quite the day! It was busy and long and full of adventure!

I fulfilled so many roles today and I am so proud of myself for the success I had in all of them!

I was a mother, a wife, a cook, a housekeeper, an employee, a boss, a chauffeur, an aunt and a friend. And suffice it to say, I completed all of them with grace, humor and intelligence.

I accomplished being a mom. I feel great about our day. I was able to hang out with Luke, make him do his almost-laugh so many times I lost track. It was a great day.

I was a wife - I had adult conversation - not about Luke - with Cory, we even laughed a little. ha.

I was a cook...prepared some meals and everything!

I was a housekeeper...I even got the bed made. BEFORE going to work. That is an accomplishment when you work at 9:30......

I was an employee. And a good one, at that. I accomplished everything on my to-do list, and then some. I'm even a little ahead for my day tomorrow!

I was a boss - delegated responsibilities, praised when necessary and even corrected once or twice.

I was Amber's chauffer - we went to her school, to our brothers house and to target. All within like two hours.

We had so much fun at my brothers house. He has two of the cutest little boys ever. The oldest one even loves me! He was sad when I left! That's how I know the time together was a success.

I was also a friend to Amber, we talked, laughed, vented...did it all.

I have had such a fulfilling day. Full of adventure - like I said before. I am so proud of myself for being able to look back on a great day, and acknowledge the MANY successes that I had. I feel so blessed to have a wonderful happy husband and son, clean house, tasty meal, great sister, great nephews and a great job.

And that's all there is to it.
